På årets NECS - European Network for Film and Cinema Studies konferanse i Oslo, er forskningsgruppen for Film, Fjernsyn og Visuell Kultur svært godt representert!

Asbjørn Grønstad skal være chair til Animation and the Limits of Care, der Samantha Hatten presenterer "The Bear is Other: Nonhuman metaphors in animation".
På Microutopias and the Ethics of Care presenterer Asbjørn Grønstad "Toward an Ethics of Inconvenience", Øyvind Vågnes presenterer "Brilliant Stacks of Cans: Baumbach's DeLillo", og ekstern medlem Henrik Gustafsson (UiT Norges Arktiske Universitet) presenterer "Archaeology & Imagination". Panelet er sponset av CCVA Workgroup.
På Visual and Archival Methodologies of Care presenterer Synnøve Marie Vik "Photography and forestry – Power and care".
