Main content
What have been the consequences, short and long term, of the wars launched by the US in Afghanistan and Iraq in the wake of 9/11? This talk reports on the efforts of a large groups of scholars and practitioners to assess the human, social, political, and economic impact of those wars in those two countries as well as in the United States. It demonstrates the startling range, scale, and longevity of those effects, and asks how this knowledge might circulate within the contemporary political landscape of the United States.
All interested are welcome!
