This is an open seminar and panel discussion and part of Arctic Frontiers in Tromsø aimed at strengthening knowledge about Greenland and Arctic politics.
We will discuss, among other things:
- Greenland’s colonial history and the legacy of Danish imperialism
- Political and cultural perspectives in a time of increasing geostrategic interest in the Arctic
- Science diplomacy and the role of academia in strengthening relationships
The seminar is moderated by Ole Rasmus Øvretveit (UiB) and is open to anyone interested in Greenland, politics, history, and research.
