The Christmas celebration was used to mark two events from the recent period: the establishment of the Master's program "Master of Law in EU and EEA Law" and the establishment of the Center for EU and EEA Law (CENTENOL). 2023 has a lot of exciting things in store, both in terms of research and teaching.

BERG also had the opportunity to hear Vilde Rasmussen and Erlend Claudi present their completed master's projects. Vilde talked about the health insurance requirement in the Union Citizen Directive art. 7(1)(b), and whether the Norwegian interpretation of the requirement is acceptable in light of EEA law. Erlend talked about the coordination of disability benefits for young disabled persons under the Social Security Regulation. Congratulations on completing your master's degree, and good luck to both of you in the future!

The research group is now taking a well-deserved Christmas break and will be back in the new year.

Warm wishes for a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from us at BERG.
