ChatGPT and similar AI tools in research and writing
Are you wondering what opportunities, limitations and pitfalls exist in the practical use of artificial intelligence in academia? In this workshop, you will get an insight into how various AI-based text tools such as ChatGPT, Bard and Bing can be useful, as well as what is important to consider when you as a researcher use such tools.
Main content
This workshop is held in English.
Content
- What are text-based AI tools good at, and what are their limitations?
- How do you create effective prompts?
- How do you document the use of AI tools?
- Where is the line between cheating and legitimate use?
Text-based AI tools are relatively new for all of us, so this isn't a course in the traditional sense, but a workshop where we gather to exchange ideas and experiences following brief introductions from the course instructors. Feel free to bring tips and advice about both alternative tools and valuable use cases.
