A career guidance pledge

We have opted to call the service career talks rather than the more commonly used term, career guidance. This is to clarify the fact that we are not offering a ready-made recipe or guidelines which you can follow in order to reach your targets. We believe that using conversations to explore and investigate helps people to find solutions by themselves and to make stronger choices later on.

Main content

The pledge:

  1. I respect you and your situation
  2. I am bound by a confidentiality pledge. Everything you share stays within the guidance room.
  3. Throughout our work together, I will meet you with genuine interest and curiosity.
  4. Together, we consider whether the career guidance is meeting your needs.
  5. I am confident in my professional skills, and I use my expertise to support you in the best possible way. I am also aware of my limitations, and I will always be transparent about what I do not know.
  6. I have your best interests at heart.
