We invite early‑stage researchers to participate in the upcoming course Building an Academic Career Vision.
The purpose of the course is to support doctoral candidates and postdoctoral researchers in articulating a coherent long‑term academic direction and to connect this direction with their ongoing professional development.
The course integrates elements from previous trainings on long-term career goals, networking practices in research environments, time‑management methodologies, principles of academic collegiality, and preparation for academic interviews. Together, these components provide a structured framework for clarifying research identity, assessing alignment between competencies and future ambitions, and strengthening one’s overall academic profile.
The course is intended for PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers who seek a systematic and reflective process for developing an informed and realistic academic career vision.
The lecturer brings exceptional skill in communicating across disciplines and career levels. We are proud to present Professor Laura Saetveit Miles as part of the UiB Ferd programme.
NB! Only 30 seats, so register now!
