Interior group contribute in a number of ways including with the preparation of colour palettes and interior design, planning furniture, logistics and procurement.
If you need new furniture for offices (height adjustable table, office chair, shelves, etc.), meeting rooms, public areas etc., you can contact the interior group by Estate and Facilities Management division for assistance.
If the furniture’s planned to be bought believed to have a cost under 100 000,- NOK ex.vat, you can, as a buyer, choose free among UIBs frame agreement suppliers, and you can contact them directly. The suppliers can also assist to find good solutions.
If the furniture’s assumed to have a cost over 100 000,- NOK ex.vat, it has to be arranged a mini competition. In the mini competition, all frame agreement suppliers have to be contacted, and give the opportunity to send an offer.
The purchasing department, (or the Interior group by EIA) can help with the implementation of mini competitions.
Ordering of furniture is done via central order system, Basware.
EIA has prepared a guidance document for standard furnishing of office and lecture rooms / student workplaces.
UiB have focus on reuse of furniture, so so weencourage you toconsult with interior group before you buy new furniture, maybe we have something at our stock that you can use.
If you need new curtains or other internal shading, send an e-mail to email@example.com, then we will share this to one of UiB's framework agreement supplier of curtains / interior shading. Supplier will then contact you to conduct a site visit. Ordering of furniture is done via central order system, Basware.
