Tuition fees for international students: Is the University of Bergen prepared?

Tuition fees will be introduced for international students from August 2023. The aim of this meeting is to put focus on the topic, and discuss the challenges at UiB.

The Norwegian Ministry of Education and Research has proposed amendments to the Universities and Colleges Act so that students from countries outside the EEA and Switzerland (so-called third countries) will have to pay at least cost-covering tuition fees at Norwegian universities and colleges — starting autumn semester 2023.
