Oppgitt tema:
Hostility online: flaming, trolling, and the public debate. The topic of hostility online is relevant to the key concerns in the dissertation, but is not addressed directly as a general theme.  The assigned topic allows the candidate to suggest her own approach to “online hostility” as a broad category, while at the same time asking for particular attention to the phenomena typically referred to as “flaming” and “trolling”, on which there is much debate and a significant body of research available.
