Two presentations give new insights into inequalities in media use from a Swedish and Norwegian perspective.

In this seminar Jonas Ohlsson and Jan Fredrik Hovden will present new research based on survey data giving insights into how inequalities in the media play out in seemingly very egalitarian settings: the welfare states of Sweden and Norway.
Jonas Ohlsson is Acting Director of Nordicom at the University of Gothenburg. Jan Fredrik Hovden is Professor of Media Studies at the University of Bergen.
The seminar is a collaboration between the Euromedia Research Group and the RCN project Media Use, Culture and Public Connection: Freedom of Information in the 'Age of Big Data'.
