Laboratorium for massespektrometri

Kjemisk institutt har to flytid-massespektrometre fra JEOL; JMS T100LC (ESI, APCI og DART) og JMS T100GC (EI og CI). JMS T100LC er koblet til en Agilent 1260-serie LC-modul (inkludert en UV-Vis DA-detektor), mens JMS T100GC er koblet til en 6890N GC, også fra Agilent. I tillegg har instituttet et 6420 A triple quadropole (QqQ) spektrometer fra Agilent (kun ESI) koblet til en 1260-serie LC-modul.
