Image enhancement and morphological operations on images with Matlab

Abstract:

In this seminar we review some standard techniques for image enhancement (via intensity transforms) and morphological operations on images.
The scope of image enhancement is to make the image more suitable for further processing. In our case, we are interested in enhancement  for tasks like segmentation and registration of medical images.
We will show how to perform these operations in Matlab for some datasets using Matlab's image processing tool box.
