Here you will find an overview of the timetables for all Norwegian Language Courses at UiB. For detailed schedules, see the course description page.

Please note that, while most courses are open for both international students and employees, some courses are reseved for spesific groups. All courses will be on campus. Changes may occur.
International students must make sure that they sign up for a group that does not conflict with the rest of their schedule. PhD candidates are considered employees, not students.
NOR-INTRO
The target audience for NOR-INTRO is exchange students. The course is ideal for those visiting UiB for only a semester or two. If you are staying for more than one semester and wish to continue learning Norwegian in your second semester, we recommend starting with NOR-U1, not NOR-INTRO.

NOR-U1
The target audience for NOR-U1 is beginners or those with limited proficiency in Norwegian. The course is more extensive than NOR-INTRO and suitable for those who wish to take further Norwegian courses.

NOR-U1/2
NOR-U1/2 is an intensive, full-time study course that covers topics from NOR-U1 and NOR-U2 during the course of one semester. The course requires high commitment and participation.
