Hanne Rosendahl-Riise is an associate professor at the Nutrition Section, Department of Clinical Medicine. Rosendahl-Riise has a background both as a dietitian and researcher and has previously been working in hospitals in Western Norway with nutritional treatment for obesity-, geriatrics-, and undernutrition. She wrote her Ph.D. thesis on dietary predictors of osteoporosis and sarcopenia. However, she has a broad research focus at present on nutritional epidemiology, public health nutrition, and clinical interventions in hospitals and community settings. She also has research interest in medical education research and is the PI of the HkDir-funded project MEST-ERN, peer-assisted learning in clinical placement. She is the head of the nutrition education and teaches and supervises bachelor-, master, and Ph.D. candidates in nutrition.
