The Mohn Nutrition Research Laboratory was founded with grants from the Trond Mohn Foundation, Haukeland University Hospital and the Medical faculty at The University of Bergen. The Mohn Nutrition Lab is organized as a part of the Centre for Nutrition, UiB. Main topics are reasons, consequences, and treatment of obesity and malnutrition. The laboratory is organized in three nodes: molecular nutrition research, led by Gunnar Mellgren, clinical nutrition research, led by Jutta Dierkes, and epidemiologic nutrition research, led by Ottar Nygård.
