Musculoskeletal complaints

Main content

The research activities within musculoskeletal complaints is broad, both nationally and internationally, and can be grouped into four main areas: Evaluation and measurement methods, clinical studies, qualitative research and translation research. The aims are to further develop the knowledge of musculoskeletal complaints and the understanding of complex causal connections, and to be able to document physiotherapeutic approaches and measures in connection with musculoskeletal complaints from both the individual and society’s point of view. This also includes the identification of subgroups which will benefit from targeted treatment, in addition to the evaluation of treatment effects.
