Evaluating psychosocial interventions and treatments

The course will be arranged by the Graduate School of Clinical and Developmental Psychology in collaboration with the Department of Clinical Medicine. The main focus of the course will be issues related to method, design and implementation of evaluation studies of psychosocial treatments and interventions.

Ph.D Course: Evaluating psychosocial interventions and treatments

The course "Evaluating psychosocial interventions and treatments" will be arranged by the Graduate School of Clinical and Developmental Psychology at the Faculty of Psychology, in collaboration with the Department of Clinical Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine.

The main focus of the course will be issues related to method, design and implementation of evaluation studies of psychosocial treatments and interventions with an emphasis on RCT. The course is structured to include lectures, individual assigments and a short written report.

Attandence:

PhD candidates connected to CDP or the Department of Clinical Medicine will be given priority, however the course will also be open to other PhD candidates at the University of Bergen.

Please note that attandance at all three days is compulsory, and that day 2 an 3 require physical attendance. The course will be held in Norwegian.

ECTS Credits: 2 ECTS

Time/place:

The course will be held December 1st, 5th and 6th. It will start 09:00 and end 16:00 on all three days. There will be a lunch break in-between.
