- The Municipality of Bergen has already started a pilot study and the results this far are positive, says PhD cantidate at SEFAS Stein Erik Fæø. He has followed the pilot, that has included 16 homedwelling persons with dementia, closely.

The Municipality of Bærum will follow in the main study, where 320 dyads with patients and carers is to be included. The Municipality of Bærum has participated in previous studies at SEFAS as well, and as a result they have implemented the COMSOS-intervention in all their nursing homes.

- The LIVE@Home.Path-study wishes to listen to the users and adapt the intervention to each and every municipality and their needs, Fæø continues. To collaborate with the municipalities at this stage of the plannign comes across as useful and needed.

The main study will start in January 2019 and 5 new researchers will be employed to work with different aspects of the intervention.
