Hovedinnhold

The course will be held in English, via Zoom.

P-hacking, the "Chrysalis Effect", outcome switching, flexible measures; the methods of tweaking your results and increase your publication numbers are many.

Why should you preregister your research study, and where is the best place to do it? What are the potential challenges of pregistering your research study?

This course gives you a very short introduction to what a preregistration involves, why you should consider it, and how to do it. We will briefly discuss how academic credibility is under debate, and demonstrate preregistration using both hypothetical examples as well as the Open Science Framework platform.
