Welcome to the University Library in Bergen, Social Sciences and Arts Library. The Social Sciences Library is located in Fosswinckels gate 14. The Arts Library is located at Haakon Sheteligs plass 7.

Welcome to the University of Bergen Library
The University of Bergen Library has more than 2 million books of which 185 000 are e-books. The library offers access to about 18 600 journals, 16 800 of them are e-journals. In our special collections you can find comprehensive newspaper collections, historical pictures, as well as manuscripts and diplomas from as far back as the 13th century.

New service - Chat with a Librarian
From Monday 2. May the library offer reference assistance using instant messaging. The service is in a "beta phase" until the end of the semester, 15. June.
