Unstaffed library

The Law Library, The Science and Technology Library, The Medical Library and the Social Sciences, Music and Psychology Library offer an unstaffed library service. This means that students and employees at the university can access the library outside of our staffed opening hours.

Access

All students and employees at the university have access to our unstaffed libraries. Your student/employee card can be used to enter the library. To access libraries located inside faculty buildings, your student/employee card must also grant you access to that building.

The buildings may be closed on bank holidays/national public holidays.

Opening hours

See the libraries' opening hours.

How is the safety of our users maintained during the unstaffed hours?

For the safety of our users, as well as to protect the library’s collections and equipment, the entrance area of the library will be covered 24/7 by video surveillance. The video footage is stored in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Do not allow anyone else to access the building using your card.

Rules of conduct

  • Be considerate of your peers.
  • Thank you for cleaning up after yourself and leaving the place as you found it.
  • Remember to use the check-out machine to borrow books and other materials you would like to bring home.

Help and guidance
