The University Library collaborates with teaching staff to ensure that relevant and up-to-date information about the syllabus is available. Some required reading materials are also available in our collections, either in print or digital format. Students can find study materials through the library's search systems.

You can find reading lists for the courses you are enrolled in on Mitt UiB. Read more about reading lists and access to course literature on UiBhjelp.
Important information about required readings and course literature is also provided during lectures.
Several of our libraries have dedicated course collections for use within the library, as well as loan copies for many of the titles. Location and loan status are usually indicated in the citation in the reading list. Feel free to ask at the library desk if you're unsure what is available for your subjects.
Find Academic Literature
In the library's search database, Oria, you can find books, journals, reference works, music, films, and more available at the University of Bergen. You can use Oria to locate a specific book or article, or to discover literature on a particular topic. Access the library's electronic resources from home via VPN .
