Main content

Bergen Anthropology Day will bring together anthropologists spread across the various research institutions in the city to give everyone a chance to get insight into the vast anthropological research milieus, the international collaborations, and ongoing projects happening in Bergen. We aim for a thematically broad programme to show parts of the extensive specter of ongoing projects and research groups.

Amongst the invited speakers are:

Prof. Don Kalb (UiB) presenting his project Frontlines: Class, Value, and Social Transformation in 21st Century Capitalism

Researchers from the project ENERGETHICS - Norwegian Energy Companies Abroad (UiB) will present

Researcher Antonio De Lauri (CMI) presenting the new journal Public Anthropologist

A light lunch will be served to all guests before we move on to an afternoon filled with interesting presentations and discussions. Presentations will be in English, and the event is open to all interested. We hope to see you there!
