A study assessing the effect of breastfeeding counselling by peer counsellors in sub-Saharan Africa was awarded this year's research prize at the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry.
Oct 31 - Nov 3, 2011 Bergen Resource Centre for International Development puts the focus on global health challenges this November.
The proposal for a second phase of NBRP (2012-2015) was submitted to the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in May 2011. The rest of the year will be used for preparations.

NBRP is using 2010 to consolidate lessons-learned after hosting six groups of researchers over the past three years. No researchers will be working at NBRP this year.
