ECTMIH (European Congress on Tropical Medicine and International Health) is a leading congress for global health challenges and tropical medicine. In the congress, researchers share research, ideas, developments and breakthroughs in the field of global health.

This year’s congress, arranged virtually from Bergen, explores global challenges in health, migration and equity. The congress has a special day on the topic of corona, including discussions on the virus, the disease, experiences in laboratories, hospitals, vaccines and treatments, preventive measures, societal and economy impact – among other things.

The congress has a tight schedule with nine parallel tracks. In addition to different panels and presentations, the programme includes workshops, film screenings and musical elements in several of the breaks. Young investigators day also has a diverse programme for young researchers. See the full programme here.

The congress is particularly relevant for researchers, clinicians, Ph.D. candidates and students in global health, but will also be of interest for anyone interested in global health issues, like the coronavirus disease and pandemics. Particularly the corona day is interesting for everyone interested in health
