Main content
- The Norwegian Institute at Athens provides administrative and logistical support for visiting academic and administrative groups from Norway and elsewhere. We especially provide logistical support for conferences, seminars, and workshops related to our own mission in Greece but welcome and host any groups from Norway.
- We provide a venue in a quiet but very centrally located part of Athens, within 10 minute walking distance from major archaeological sites (e.g. the Acropolis), museums (Acropolis Museum), and the Parliament, with immediate access to public transportation (Metro) to other parts of Athens, the port of Piraeus, and the Airport.
- Our seminar room can accommodate maximum of 18-20 participants in a seminar room arrangement (chairs around a central table) and approximately 40 participants in a classroom arrangement (rows of chairs facing forward). We can also arrange larger capacity venues in the nearby cooperating institutions.
These visits need to be arranged well in advance to ensure that there is sufficient time to prepare them properly. If interested, please contact the institute by filling the form below to check for term availability and pricing. Please also see our events support and hosting prices in the attached document.
