Upcoming lecture by Dr. Peter Stuart Robinson (Assoc. Professor of Political Science, Department of Social Sciences, The Arctic University of Norway) on Wednesday, 31 January 2024 at 7:00 p.m. (Athens, Greece).

 

The lecture is titled "The Real Thucydides Trap: How Today’s ‘Statesmen’ See What They Want (and Expect) to See in Their Favorite Ancient Historian,” and will take place at the Norwegian Institute at Athens in a hybrid format (in-person and online via Zoom attendance).

This lecture marks the inauguration of our Athenæum Lecture Series, organized in collaboration with Athenæum – Society of Friends of the Norwegian Institute at Athens. Athenæum is an association of Norwegian-based academics from the broader fields of Humanities and Social Sciences, aiming to provide support to the Norwegian Institute at Athens (NIA) and promote its academic significance and contribution.
