By train
From the train station, it is a walk of about 10 minutes to the university (B). The train currently connects Oslo and Bergen.
By air
Frequent flights from other Norwegian cities, from Copenhagen and some direct routes are offered by SAS, Norwegian and Wideroe. The airport bus brings you to the bus terminal (A), from where you can walk (B). Bus transfer takes about 30 minutes. Same arrival for express busses.
By car
Arriving on the E39, leave at the exit for Bergen centre ("sentrum"). That is, from the north, after the tunnel; from the south, after the bridge into the city. Once you arrive at the big parking house, follow the route outlined in blue.
Note that the university does not provide parking space, and that it is thus not recommended to travel by car.
Once at the university
Geosciences are located in the main building of the Natural Sciences Faculty. This ("Realfagbygget") is by one of the largest in the city centre and therefore easy to spot. Entering from the main entrance, take the stairs or the elevator to the second floor. You will arrive in the cafeteria. Turn to the right to enter the side corridor, take it to the right again. We are located in the immediately next offices (21xx).
If you are uncertain about the exact location, take the elevator to the third floor, where the reception is located. Here you can get further information
