Radiology and Nuclear Medicine
Radiology and Nuclear Medicine are both part of the Department of Radiology at Haukeland University Hospital. The Department of Radiology includes all radiological modalities (røntgen, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasound) under one roof in the main block of Haukeland University Hospital. The department is organized in 7 sections that each are focused on organ systems rather than modalities. Nuclear Medicine/PET-centre is located in the Park buildning in front of the main block. It includes its own radiopharmacy and cyclotron unit. The centre has two double-headed scintigraphy cameras (including one SPECT-CT), PET-CT, and ultrasound.
