FREE ENTRY TO BOTH BUILDINGS FOR ALL VISITORS. IN ADDITION, ALL ADULTS WILL BE OFFERED A MUSEUM PASS THAT WILL GIVE THEM FREE ADMISSION TO THE MUSEUM FOR THE REMAINDER OF 2013. WHY!

On that particular day, 160 years ago, it was decided that our museum would open its doors to the general public. This was an important decision because it gave ordinary people access to knowledge they previously had not had access to.
We think the decision made all those years ago was a brilliant one, and we would like to celebrate it!
