Workshop: Social Media in Biology Education

The first session of the bioCEED seminar series on educational development will be held on Wednesday October 29th at 2pm in the meeting room "Tunet" on the 4th floor in A-block at BIOLOGEN. 

Professor Anson Mackay from the Environmental Change Research Centre at University College London will lead an open discussion on "How best to use social media to facilitate new methods of interaction and learning in biology". 

Anson has received several awards for his innovative teaching and has interesting experience to share on using social media in education. This will be a workshop based discussion and experience-sharing, so please come  along and contribute with any inputs, opinions, questions, or experiences you have both from a teacher and a student perspective.
