The Female Heart workshop takes place at Solstrand Hotel & Bad outside Bergen on May 7th and 8th 2024. The workshop is hosted by the Center for Research on Cardiac Disease in Women at UiB and focuses on sex differences in cardiovascular risk and disease.

The University of Bergen arranged the NORHART course in Cardiac Imaging in Research this May. Twelve PhD students from all over Norway were gathered for an interactive course covering a wide range imaging methods used in cardiovascular research.

Medical research student Rasmus Bach Sindre performed with excellence when he passed his midway evaluation 02.02.23. Rasmus is a 3rd year medical student, but has already acquired skills in advanced cardiac ultrasound image analysis and teaches his fellow students how to use handheld ultrasound equipment.
