IT for education

The IT division delivers systems and services for use in learning, teaching and assessment in addition to self-service solutions where students can manage their own studies. Examples of services aimed at students are the learning platform Mitt UiB, semester fee payment, e-mail, VPN and others. The division also ensures that teaching rooms and learning areas have functioning technical equipment.

The IT division collaborates with the Division of Student and Academic Affairs and the UiB Learning Lab on IT services for students and teachers.
