Join UiB’s Furniture Exchange Group

UiB’s Furniture Exchange Group on Microsoft Teams connects you with colleagues, making it easier for you and your unit to acquire or give away used furniture.

If your unit needs furniture, or if you wish to give away fully functional furniture to other departments, the first step is to join the Microsoft Teams group for furniture reuse and exchange. In this group, you can ask whether someone has the furniture you're looking for, or if anyone needs the items you wish to give away.

Once you’ve found a match — either someone who has what you need or wants what you’re offering — you should arrange the transfer of furniture directly with them. You are then responsible for contacting the Transport Section to organize the actual move.
