Information about UiB transport services.
Main content
The Transport Section (TPS) of the Estate and Management Division undertakes small-scale removals and transport assignments, and dismantles and assembles some furniture.
Priority areas of work:
- Transport of some in-house items on the campus.
- Replacing some office furniture and shelves.
- Hiring out and transporting tables and chairs for various events.
- Hiring out and transporting speakers' platforms.
All inquiries should be entered on a Demand Notice and sent to Lydia.
Procurement and assembly of office furniture and storage shelves:
- All new procurements of furniture shall be undertaken by our framework agreement partners and shall include assembly.
- TPS's materials team is not responsible for such assembly work.
Assignments that goes beyond TPS' capacity
If you need to transport items that goes beyond what TPS has the capacity to move, you can order moving services from UiB's service provider. You unit will have to pay for any services ordered in this way.
