UiB has a supplementary portal for information related to privacy and research ethics: https://www4.uib.no/en/research/research-ethics
There you will find information about ethics and data protection in research, an overview of courses and training on the topic, and guidance for reporting suspected misconduct.
You will also find a description and guide for RETTE - UiB's system for risk and compliance in student and research projects that process personal information. All processing of personal data in research and student projects at UiB must be registered in this system. Health research projects that require research ethics approval from REK must first apply to REK, and then the projects are imported into RETTE.
UiB's Information Security and Privacy Management System (SIP) can be read in the University's Regulations.
