UiB has a specific routine for following up with guest researchers. Here you will find:

Other important information about receiving guests:
- Guests who need access to the UiB network must be registered with the correct category in the UiB Guest Service.
- Guest researchers do not have a formal employment relationship with UiB. However, it is important that they receive sufficient training in HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) at the workplace.
- If a guest researcher is to receive reimbursement from UiB, Access to Betalmeg must be ordered for them.
- Guest researchers can use UiB housing. Contact bolig@uib.no for booking.
- Guest researchers can participate in events organized by the International Centre.
- Guest researchers can use membership in Sammen at the same price as employees
