Main content

The goal of our research has typically been to answer questions about

  1. breeding biology, pair bonds and parental care
  2. evolution of body size
  3. movements and ecology of migratory birds
  4. population variation in birds and its reasons

Waders (US: shorebirds) have often been in focus but our research activities are not limited to this taxonomic group.

Students are encouraged to contact Dr Terje Lislevand for discussions of possible MSc projects or other work on birds.
