Apply for the interdiciplinary PhD-course at the Pandemic Centre!

In October, the Pandemic Center offers an interdisciplinary course for students on learning from the covid-19 pandemic. The course is primarily aimed at PhD candidates and will address a number of exciting issues in collaboration with some of the leading professionals at UiB.

Registration is now open for the next interdisciplinary PhD-course at the Pandemic Center: Learning from the COVID-19 pandemic: an interdisciplinary approach 

The course will be held in week 43 (October 23rd - 27th) and deals with interdisciplinary approaches to how to better understand the long-term consequences of the covid-19 pandemic. PhD candidates have first priority, but the course is also open to Master's students from all disciplines.

Examples of issues that will be highlighted on the course are vaccine preparedness, psychological impact among young people, health legislation, politics and decision-making etc. The students will also reflect on and discuss approaches to how to strengthen preparedness for a possible new pandemic or crisis.

Students will also have the opportunity to take part in the Pandemic Centre's international conference on October 27th.
