The research group for comparative law at the Department of Jurisprudence at the University of Agder is hosting a national round table discussion on the teachings of comparative law in Norway today - What, where, how and why - on the 07. and 08. of December.

During the event, several different institutions will be meeting and present themselves and their connection to comparative law. Among other things, the participants will share their experiences within the research field with each other, discuss future lawyers' need for knowledge of comparative law, talk about possible collaborations across institutions, and much more. In addition, various representatives from the various institutions will present their approaches to comparative law, which will help to highlight that there is a wide range of opportunities within comparative research.

The participants come from, among other places, Agder, Copenhagen, Oslo and Bergen.

The first day ends with a joint dinner in the evening.
