Research based education

The research group has offered important support in the development of an analytic framework for legal comparison based on a legal cultural perspective and the discussion concerning methodological choices when conducting legal historical studies. This research, its finding and scientific developments are the backbone of all educational activities provided and supported by the research group on legal culture, legal history and comparative law. The courses Legal History and Comparative Law, Legal History and Comparative Law with special focus on China, and Comparing Legal Cultures in Europe are adapted to the postmodern, interdisciplinary and progressive approach and method promoted and applied in the publications of the group. The research group's joined experience and excellence allows us to dynamically adapt teaching and assessments according to pressing challenges for society and law.
