Visit at Equinor's department of Renewable Energy
Associate Professor Ignacio Herrera-Anchustegui and Postdoctor Siv Elén Årskog Vedvik attended a lunch seminar at Equinor as a part of the "Research Days" 2023.

The research days of Bergen is a broad collaboration among the city's research and educational institutions. The objective is, among other things, to create enthusiasm and understanding for research and to convey what research and its results mean for us in our daily lives.
Ignacio had an introduction where he explained what the research group is working on and the projects we have ongoing in renewable energy.
Siv Elén held a presentation about her postdoctor project in the research project "ImpactWind SørVest", mainly discussing possibilities and obstacles within the current regulations for offshore wind projects aimed at electrifying the continental shelf to take "shortcuts" through the concession system.
According to Siv Elén, they met an interested and active audience who asked many questions, making it a good and inspiring discussion.
