Population studies on sleep

The projects focus mainly on various sleep- and circadian rhythm-related questions in the Norwegian population, however surveys will also be conducted internationally. Data collection is carried out through various research agencies and by invitation through Norwegian media such as newspapers and TV. Among other things, different bedroom habits, Norwegians' attitudes towards daylight saving time, insomnia, the relationship between sexual activity and sleep, and sleep health have been examined. We have also collected data and initiated analyses of phenomena such as the use of sleep apps, "bedtime procrastination," and orthosomnia.
