This very exciting instance of the TeLEd Monthly Event Series will feature Naomi Winstone, Professor of Educational Psychology and Director of the Surrey Institute of Education at the University of Surrey. Naomi is yet another superstar in the world of feedback and higher education research, with her work focusing largely on feedback literacy, students as partners, and the discourses that surround feedback practices.

Feedback is often framed as one of the most powerful influences on student learning, whilst also being reported as a source of dissatisfaction for students and frustration for educators. In this session, Professor Winstone will put common claims about feedback to the test, exploring how we can design feedback processes that lead to tangible impact on student learning, motivation, and identity.
