Program for University Pedagogy

UPED Intro

Welcome to the University of Bergen's Program for University Pedagogy (UPED)

We are UiB’s unit for training, research and developing in learning and teaching. We are housed within the Institute for Pedagogy (Department of Education) in the Faculty of Psychology.

Please have a look at our introduction video for information about UPED and the new university pedagogy program.

We are involved in several core activities:

• We provide pedagogical courses for staff and students with teaching appointments.

• We offer consultation and guidance on pedagogy for central administration, all faculties and for individuals.

• We conduct research on teaching and learning both individually and collaboratively with academic staff across UiB.

• We are curious and critical about pedagogy and value our dialogue with our teaching peers throughout UiB.
