Teacher Beliefs in Higher Education — A Work in Progress

In this session, Ferguson will focus on teacher beliefs and what they have to say for teaching practice in higher education, as well as academically speculating on how they influence faculty well-being. She will also discuss how teachers’ beliefs are relevant for academic developers, and how they can try to further develop teacher beliefs through professional development measures and encouraging reflective practice.
