All application forms for students in study programmes at the Faculty of Social Sciences are available online.
When you have completed a degree, you lose your right to study the Faculty of Social Sciences. If you would like to continue studying, you can apply for an additional studies admission for up to two semesters.
After completing an exam and receiving a grade you can ask for an explanation of the result. You can also appeal the grade and receive a new assessment of your exam.
As a master’s student at the Faculty of Social Sciences you can apply for economic support in connection with data collection, conference fees and other expenses related to the master thesis.
If you are not enrolled as a student at the University of Bergen, you can apply to sit an exam as an external candidate.
As a student at The Faculty of Social Sciences you can report on issues concerning the learning environment using an online form.
A leave of absence from you studies must be registered in your individual education plan. You can apply to the Faculty of Social Sciences for a personal or a documented leave of absence.
If you have completed courses at another university in Norway or abroad, you can apply to have these courses recognized as part of your study programme at the University of Bergen.
If you are a student at another Norwegian university or university college, you can apply to be a visiting student at the Faculty of Social Sciences.
