Doing a systematic review is an often used methodology in medicine and health sciences. There are specific requirements for these kinds of summaries.
The course “Introduction to systematic reviews (medicine and health sciences)” covers the following topics:
- What is a Systematic Review
- Types of reviews
- Relevant databases for finding systematic reviews
- Preliminary searches
- Writing a protocol
- Documentation of search strategies
- Tools for data management and quality appraisal
- Guidelines and standards
- The role of the library
The course language is English unless all participants speak Norwegian. Minimum 7 participants.
