Election for Department Assemblies

University Museum of Bergen, Elections for Department Assemblies - spring 2025 for the period 01.08.2025-31.07.2029, cf. rules for the museum passed by the UiB-Board 10.03.2022:

The following members of the Department Assemblies for the Cultural History Collections and the Natural History Collections respectively are to be elected:

The head of department is the head of the department assembly.
The elections for groups A, B and C are separate but are held simultaneously.

Deadline for nominations: Tuesday May 13^th at 12.00 p.m.

Election period: Voting begins on Tuesday June 3^rd at 09.00 a.m. and ends Thursday June 5^th at 12.00 p.m.

How to nominate candidates to the department assembly for your department:

• The proposal must be signed by at least the same number of proposers as the number of candidates the proposal contains. (groups A, B and C are separate constituencies). No one can sign more than one proposal.
• The proposal must be in writing.
• The proposer(s) must be entitled to vote in the election.
• The proposed candidates must be eligible, i.e. be entitled to vote
• If any candidate is entitled to exemption from election, a written consent from the candidate must be attached to the proposal.
• One may not nominate oneself.
• Proposals must be submitted by Tuesday May 13^th at 12.00 p.m.
